Image data created on Windows has different colors on the Macintosh |
There are numerous reasons why the colors of an image created on Windows will look different when printed on a Macintosh system. On each computer the number of colors specified in the default settings, the preferences set for the applications, and the color characteristics of the monitors may all be different. To adjust the computer, begin by making diagnostic color printout. |
When the applications to be used for output on the Windows and the Macintosh systems have been determined, prepare and print color output samples, continue to adjust the color settings until the colors on the samples match as desired. |
